Terms
These terms describe how Career IP works and what you agree to by using it. They're written to match what the product actually does.
How Career IP works
Career IP builds an evidence-backed understanding of your work from what you choose to share, then turns it into documents you can use — a résumé, a LinkedIn profile, and more — and delivers them to you. Career IP is designed to give you something you can continue using long after your session ends.
There is no account and no password, and you never sign in. You complete one session — a short reflection and a few professional details — and we send your finished package to the email address you give us. Your package is prepared and delivered automatically.
What you're agreeing to
Using Career IP means agreeing to how it handles your data, described in full on the Privacy page: what's collected, why, where it lives, who processes it, how long it's kept, and how to export or delete it. In short — we collect your reflection answers, the professional details you enter, and your delivery email; your text is processed by the Claude API to run the session; and you can ask us to export or delete your data at any time by contacting us.
One complimentary Career IP package is available per person during this early period. Please use Career IP for your own career, with information you're entitled to share.
What Career IP is not
Career IP is a tool, not a guarantee. It won't inflate what you did, and it doesn't promise a job, an interview, or any particular outcome — it gives you a truthful, usable articulation of experience you already have. It isn't therapy, coaching, a job board, or an ongoing advisory relationship. There's more on the About page.
Our responsibility, and its limits
We build Career IP carefully and describe it honestly. It's provided as is, without a guarantee that it will be error-free or that its documents will lead to any particular result. Career IP helps you describe your experience; the decisions you make with it, and how you use what it produces, are yours.
To the extent the law allows, Career IP and RunOan are not liable for indirect or knock-on losses — for example, an opportunity you didn't get — arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits anything that cannot legally be limited.
